Dr Muhammad Nazli Haffiz Bin Ghazali, or Dr Nazli Haffiz as called by his clients, is a dental surgeon by training and is experienced in both clinical and management aspects of healthcare. Dr Nazli Haffiz created drnalzihaffiz.com in a vision to pursue his interests in aesthetic dentistry as well as efficient healthcare services management.
Experience and Expertise
Dr Nazli Haffiz has worked with an established private hospital in Selangor to create a dental department which provides dental and oral healthcare to its clients. Besides that, he also has experience working with high-level healthcare management during his service in the Oral Health Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia.
Dr Nazli Haffiz has also worked for various private dental practices focusing on aesthetic dentistry such as Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre (KLIDC) and Mont’ Kiara Dental Specialist Clinic at Twin Towers Medical Centre KLCC. Currently he is practicing as the resident dental surgeon at the Specialist Dental Clinic, iHeal Medical Centre located in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. His experiences cultivated his interest and expertise in providing aesthetic dental care and developing efficient and profitable healthcare practices. He has also developed partnerships with various members of the healthcare industry from manufacturers and suppliers to authoritative bodies.
Career
Dr Nazli Haffiz started his career in clinical dentistry in July 2005 under the Ministry of Health Malaysia There, he was exposed to various departments and specialties namely Primary Care Dentistry, Orthodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
In August 2007, he was transferred to the Oral Health Division at the MOH headquarters situated in Putrajaya. He had the opportunity to work with various dental public health specialists in the administration and regulation of the practice of dentistry in both the Division and in the Malaysian Dental Council as well as getting involved with dental-related ICT projects such as the Oral Health Clinical Information System (OHCIS) and the APC-Online. Dr Nazli Haffiz was also entrusted to manage and develop the official webportals of the Division (http://ohd.moh.gov.my) and the Malaysian Dental Council (http://mdc.moh.gov.my). During his service in Putrajaya, Dr Nazli Haffiz also had the opportunity to do clinical work in Restorative Dentistry in Putrajaya Government Dental Clinic and Orthodontics in the Orthodontics Unit in Kajang Hospital.
His past experience in private practice include as a Dental Surgeon in Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre (KLIDC), Mont’ Kiara Dental Specialist Clinic (Twin Towers Medical Centre KLCC branch) and various other dental practices. Now he is the resident dental surgeon at the Specialist Dental Clinic, iHeal Medical Centre Kuala Lumpur.
Education
Dr Nazli Haffiz is an old boy of Sekolah Dato’ Abdul Razak in Seremban, a premier fully residential school, which he attended from 1994 to 1998. He was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and graduated with a Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS UKMalaysia) in 2005. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Public Health majoring in Oral Health in Universiti Malaya and slated to graduate in 2013. He has completed a Certificate in Professional Implant Training awarded by the Apsun Implant Research and Education Centre (AIC Korea) in early 2008.
