Flossing should be part of the routine care for your teeth. Some may think toothbrushing is sufficient to get rid of plaque but even the most vigorous toothbrushing may miss the small amounts of plaque in between teeth, which is enough to propose subsequent dental decay.
Flossing is at first tedious and may need a little bit of patience. But through regular practice, flossing will benefit you greatly in the long run. Try to floss not only the front teeth but the back teeth as well. You would be surprised to see the amount of plaque that may reside in between teeth, even after completing the regular toothbrushing routine.
So do not only brush your teeth but floss them as well. Your teeth will greatly benefit from the extra care.
