I saw an episode of Mythbusters which investigated on the myth of airborne fecal bacteria getting into your wet toothbrush. Technically, I believe many of us place our toothbrushes in the washroom/shower which usually would be near to the toilet bowl. So anyhow, as in the show suggested, these airborne bacteria is practically everywhere. Therefore a toothbrush need not be in the toilet to get populated by bacteria.

I would recommend you not to panic. It’s everywhere really and fortunately in very minute amounts. Healthy people should not have an ounce of worry.

But if you do, the video below may ease your paranoia. Cheers.
