Dr Nazli Haffiz is a dental surgeon based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with more than 15 years of experience in dentistry, more specifically in orthodontics, dental aesthetics as well as dental implantology and clinic management. Currently he is the Senior Scientific Affairs & Education (SA&E) Manager for Orthodontics, Asia Region for 3M Oral Care as well as a member to the Board of Advisors for the Doctor of Dental Surgery Programme at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Malaysia (UKM).

As Senior SA&E Manager for Orthodontics Asia Pacific, Dr Naz oversees the technical competencies of local SA&E managers from the Asia Pacific countries which are Japan, Korea, ANZ, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. He also manages and develop international and regional Key Opinion Leaders supporting education in orthodontics. Dr Naz regularly connects with colleagues and orthodontists globally in orthodontic education through conferences, webinars and workshops to further improve the treatment process and encourage successful treatment outcomes.

Dr Naz started his career as a Dental Officer in the Ministry of Health before taking up the post as an Assistant Director of Oral Health in the Oral Health Division, Putrajaya where he managed the Ministry’s Oral Health Clinical Information System (OHCIS). He then joined the Faculty of Dentistry, MARA University of Technology (UiTM) as a Trainee Lecturer in Community Dentistry.

Upon leaving the civil service, Dr Naz practiced in the private sector at iHEAL Medical Centre and Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre (KLIDC) and Twin Towers Medical Centre and developed and managed dental clinics for BP Healthcare Group.

Dr Naz was also a consultant for DreamEDGE Healthcare Sdn Bhd involving projects to develop dental CAD/CAM and patient mobility systems.
